PT Kaltim Prima selected Roberts & Schaefer Company to provide
turnkey services for their coal handling system at their Tanjung
Bara Facility in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The facility is designed to accept coal from a truck receiving
hopper and convey it to a crusher building at 2,500 MTPH. From
there coal is conveyed to a traveling tripper conveyor and discharged
into a 200,000 metric ton storage pile. Coal is reclaimed with
draw down hoppers and coal valves then conveyed to surge bins
before being discharged to a conveyor, which feeds the existing
overland conveyor.
