Kenjetai Kounrad Project
Due Diligence Review

A due diligence review was prepared for the European Bank of
Reconstruction and Development for the completed Kenjetai KounradCopper Leach Project Feasibility study in Kazakhstan, CIS. This
project is a heap leach solvent extraction facility. Existing
waste dumps will be leached for residual copper using standard
solvent extraction and electrowinning technology. Roberts &
Schaefer Company conducted an independent audit to determine if
plans for the development and operation of the heap leach were
based on good engineering and environmental practices. This audit
also reviewed the design tonnage rate, grade of ore, specified
solutions volumes, copper cathode production, capital cost estimate,
operating cost estimate and review of the project risk for the
protection of the lender. A final report was completed and provided
to the European Bank for their use.
