 The
Thunder Basin Coal Company selected Roberts & Schaefer Company
to execute an engineering study to identify the most cost effective
methods for expanding their existing in-pit crushing and conveying
systems to serve their new Thundercloud mining area.
This study included heavy logistical modeling of storage facilities,
rail loading and rail movement, preliminary design and cost estimating.
It also included the preparation of an RFP for the detailed engineering
design for the recommended modifications.
