GENEVA
STEEL
Gas Desulfurization Plant
Orem, Utah
Geneva Steel selected R&S to complete the design and redesign
work on their coke gas desulfurization plant. This included re-layout
of the reactor area to correct placement of heat exchangers and
modifications to support a third level. In-depth

CYPRUS NORTH SHORE MINING
Hearth Layer Plant
Silver Bay Processing Facility
Silver Bay, Minnesota
To increase capacity R&S added a hearth layer system to taconite
pellet machines at an inactive facility. Pre-assembled conveyor
structures, duct / chute work, and piping were used to minimize
field assembly and have the upgrade completed and plant reactivated
in just 18 weeks. In-depth project
