Project Background
The facility loads liquid and solid petroleum products to vessels of up to 50,000 DWT. The solid petroleum product system consists of petroleum coke stockpiles, which are stacked and reclaimed by mobile equipment to an approach conveyor to the jetty. A traveling tripper feeds the traveling shiploader that is capable of loading at 1000 TPH. Two petroleum berths plus approach trestle, piping, fire protection, loading/unloading arms and electrical control system are included. The terminal is provided with extensive environmental protection systems ranging from the safety features of the pumping and piping systems and control technology to the slop and runoff water treatment facilities.
