Project Background
In 2006 Separator R&S was awarded a contract to design and provide construction supervision for a 150 MTPH sand/aggregate plant to be built at a lignite open cast mine at Belchatow Electric Generating Station in Poland.
The feed material is the overburden from the open cast mine. Feed contains large amount of sands and smaller, aggregate quality rock.
Project involved engineering a mobile plant with multiple deck screens to separate and size the sands and a single stage cone crushing system to provide three aggregate grades. Products are stored in conical stockpiles from which sales product is reclaimed and sent to truck loading station via a belt conveyor. Truck loading is accomplished via a loading hopper and truck scale.
