Soros has extensive experience in the engineering of all types of conveyors, shiploaders, unloaders, railroad yards, rail road and truck loading and unloading, stackers, reclaimers, tunnels, covered and silo storage, crushing, screening, drying, bagging, weighing, sampling and computerized-control and data-management systems.
Offshore Terminals
As a pioneer in the technology of bulk loading and unloading in the open sea, with more successful installations around the world than any other firm, Soros is an invaluable partner for all of your offshore terminal needs.
Our practical experience in feasibility analysis, design, construction and operation of terminals in oceanic locations is unique, making us a driving force behind the first open-sea loading berth at Port Latta, Tasmania; the first multiple-oriented loading berth at Punta Colorada, Argentina; the first open-sea continuous loading berth at Hsinta, Taiwan; and the first artificial island terminal on the continental shelf of Brazil.
Transport Systems
Soros has conducted in-depth studies of railroads, trucks, pipelines, overland conveyors, ropeways, barges, self-unloading vessels, intermodal terminals and ocean shipping in order to recommend the most efficient means of transportation to our clients.
