The range of skills required for effective plant operation is
complex. In order to maintain quality production, all operators
must be appropriately educated. Roberts & Schaefer Company
maximizes plant performance by training personnel to safely and
skillfully operate machinery and equipment.

highlighted below.
HARRIS MINE - KOPPERSTON PROJECT

Kopperston, West Virginia
R&S served as the project manager and did the detailed engineering,
permitting and construction management for this $45 million dollar
endeavor. The goal was to create a coal handling system that would
combine coal from two separate production facilities, store and
load unit trains. Initially capacity was specified as 2 MTPY,

GRANT TOWN PROJECT

Grant Town, West Virginia
Roberts & Schaefer created a GOB/Limestone preparation and
handling system with vibratory feeders moving 12"x0" GOB via conveyor
to where it is wet screened, crushed and dewatered to 1/4"x0".
Limestone is crushed, dried, pneumatically transported, then combined
with processed GOB as a usable fuel. In-depth
