ROBERTS AND SCHAEFER COMPANY - How the world processes its resources

CEMENT PRODUCTION
Production Facilities - Design/Build

The initial phase in the design, construction and commissioning of the grinding, milling, and pyro-processing areas of a cement facility begins with the manufacturers of the major process equipment. The grinding, calcining, pre-heaters, kiln and cooler system equipment, are customarily selected by the Owner working directly with the manufacturers.

The equipment selected defines the general configuration of the facility, the initial arrangement of the ancillary support systems, and the material handling, storage and load-out systems. Successful projects are accomplished through the close working relationship between the Owner and the Engineer.

Roberts & Schaefer Company's cement processing personnel and our century long history of professional services and construction management offer a valuable resource to the Cement Industry. We accept complete responsibility for the engineering, construction and commissioning of such facilities. Our experience and understanding provides the assurance of quality performance, executed with care and diligence.

Two projects that illustrate our experience are highlighted below.
